Ordering And Shipping Confirmation:
After you place your order, you will receive an email receipt/confirmation which will arrive within minutes of submitting your order. If there are any questions about your order or the delivery of your order, one of Modern's Part Specialists will contact you for further clarification. If you are picking your order up at a Modern store, a Part Specialist will contact you when your order is ready to be picked up. If your order is being shipped or delivered, you will receive a confirmation once your order is on its way.
Despite our best efforts, items on our web site may, on rare occasion, be mispriced. If an item's correct price is lower than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount and ship you the item. If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.
Shipping Policy
All sales are conducted on an FOB Shipping Point basis. Ownership and responsibility transfer to the customer once the product leaves our warehouse. Any damage in transit must be claimed with the shipping carrier.
Pricing Errors
Despite our best efforts, items on our website may on rare occasions be mispriced. If an item’s correct price is lower than our listed price, we will charge the lower amount and ship your item. If an item’s correct price is higher than our listed price, we will either contact you for instructions or cancel your order and notify you.
Shipping & Delivery Timeframes
When Will My Order Arrive?
In-stock items at our main warehouse ship the same business day when ordered before 2:00 PM EST. Orders shipping from offsite or supplier warehouses typically require 2–5 business days to process, based on availability and location.
Once shipped, deliveries typically arrive within 1–5 business days, depending on destination and selected method.
International: Modernequipmentparts.com currently ships Internationally. We do not offer international LTL shipments; however, customers may arrange LTL pickup from our Edison, NJ warehouse.
International Shipping, Duties & Taxes
We currently ship internationally via parcel services. We do not ship LTL internationally. Customers may arrange LTL pickup directly from our Edison. NJ warehouse if needed. Shipping charges are calculated based on weight and destination. Our prices do not include customs duties, fees, or taxes, which are the customer’s responsibility.
International Returns & Customs Rejections
If a package is refused, undeliverable, or returned due to customs restrictions or incorrect addresses, the customer is responsible for all return shipping and customs-related fees. Refunds are issued for merchandise only, minus a 25% restocking fee and any additional costs incurred (e.g., quarantine, shipping, warehousing). No credit will be issued for shipments rejected and abandoned by customs.
What Is The Shipping Cost?
Shipping costs are estimated based on the shipping address and shipping method selected. Because shipping costs are only estimated during checkout, they are not guaranteed until actually shipped.
Do You Offer Expedited Shipping?
Modern offers several shipping options, and we will do our best to meet your needs. If expedited shipping is requested, a Modern Parts Specialist will contact you to discuss shipping and delivery options, and we can also arrange for flexible pickup options at any of our store locations. Our cut off time for next day air is 3:00pm EST. Any order that is placed after this time will be processed the next business day.
Orders that are placed next day air on Friday will be delivered on the next business day.
Next Day Air is not guaranteed.
ORDERING AND SHIPMENT
Unless otherwise stated in the Order, prices are FOB shipping point and, and you must arrange for shipment to you in a commercially reasonable manner at your sole risk and expense. If you request shipping arrangements, we may charge twenty percent (20%) of the shipping costs as an administration fee. Personnel travel and related costs will be as specified in the Order, or if not specified, pursuant to our then applicable rates. Prices for sales and rentals may not include the cost of personnel or equipment or aids required to install Equipment. Upon request, we will provide such personnel and equipment or aids at our then applicable rates. By executing an Order or by accepting the Products, Services, Rental or Lease, you agree to be bound by subsequent written (including by email, facsimile, text message) modifications to the Order and pricing reflected therein. Orders agreed to by you and us may be cancelled or modified by you only with our written consent. Any cancellation, modification or requested delays of an Order by you may result in a charge equal to (a) 15% percent of the quoted or estimated costs and fees if relating to standard Products and (b) our supplier’s cancelation fees plus 15% for nonstandard or special Products. Products returned after delivery are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Custom Products may not be returned without our written consent.
MISSING OR STOLEN SHIPMENTS
If you didn't receive your order but the shipping carrier is reporting that it has been delivered, please contact us as soon as possible. We will file a claim with the carrier who will perform a detailed investigation. Upon completion of this investigation we will replace or refund your order as needed. Please allow up to 21 days for the completion of the investigation.
Return Policy
All returns must be initiated within 30 days of the shipment date. Items must be unused, in original condition, and in their original packaging. Items such as seal kits or gaskets must remain sealed to be eligible for return.
- Returns may be subject up to a 25% restocking fee.
- Special orders, hazardous materials (Hazmat), and electrical components are non-returnable.
- Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error.
To start a return, please complete our Return Request Form. Credits are issued within 14 business days of receipt and inspection. Damage claims must be made within 3 days of delivery.
